Accounts Payable Accountant

Our client, a fast growing and innovative industrial business working in the energy transition, is strengthening its Finance team and is looking for several Accounts Payable Accountants on a 9 month temporary assignment.

Reporting into the Finance department, you will handle day to day supplier accounting and help ensure reliable accounting operations and month end closes.

• Recording and posting supplier invoices and following up invoice approvals
• Checking supplier prices with the purchasing team and tracking investments and related spend
• Reconciling supplier accounts
• Contributing to Intrastat declarations, month end closes and financial reporting
• Helping to improve accounting processes

• An accounting qualification (BTS, DUT GEA, two to three years of higher education or equivalent)
• A first successful experience in accounts payable
• Good IT and accounting software skills; SAP is a plus
• Fluent French; some professional English is a plus
• Rigour, organisation and good communication with internal contacts
