Audit Manager

Our client, a well established professional services firm with international and domestic clients, is looking for an experienced Lead Auditor / Audit Manager to join its growing team.

You will independently manage audit engagements, work directly with clients and mentor junior team members. The role suits someone who combines strong accounting knowledge with excellent project coordination skills and enjoys a collaborative, client focused environment.

• Leading and coordinating audit engagements from planning through to completion
• Reviewing annual financial statements and reporting packages
• Preparing and reviewing audit documentation and working papers
• Managing client relationships as the key point of contact
• Mentoring junior auditors and assistants and contributing to complex accounting matters

• A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
• At least 5 to 6 years in audit, accounting, finance or chief accountant roles
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting
• Fluent Hungarian and strong written and spoken English
• Audit firm experience, Qualified Auditor certification or German are advantages
