Banking Claims Handler

Our client, a leading international bank in Luxembourg, is temporarily strengthening its operations teams and is looking for a Banking Claims Handler to join its Customer Transfer Services department.

You will handle client claims, monitor bank accounts and manage the operational risks linked to payments and fund transfers, meeting the bank's processing deadlines and quality standards while helping to improve processes.

• Logging, analysing and answering client claims within agreed deadlines
• Resolving anomalies and breaks on Nostro accounts and reducing open items
• Identifying and escalating operational risks and carrying out ongoing monitoring controls
• Producing activity statistics and indicators and preparing some internal billing
• Contributing to the optimisation of operational processes and procedures

• Successful experience in a banking environment
• Knowledge of payments, banking operations, fund transfers or claims handling
• Good understanding of international payment mechanisms and banking flows
• Excellent French and a good level of professional English
• Strong analytical, problem solving and writing skills; SWIFT and Nostro knowledge is a plus
