Buyer

Our client, a well known bank in Luxembourg, is looking for an entry level Buyer for a temporary assignment starting as soon as possible.

You will gather internal client needs, run supplier consultations and tenders, negotiate commercial and contractual terms and follow contract delivery, while supporting supplier risk monitoring, cost optimisation and reporting to management.

• Gathering, analysing and formalising the needs of internal clients and helping draft specifications
• Running supplier consultations and tenders and leading commercial and contractual negotiations
• Preparing comparative analyses and selection recommendations
• Following contract execution, service quality, supplier risk and procurement compliance
• Producing reports and decision support material for management

• A Master's level degree from a business or engineering school
• A first experience in banking (mandatory); purchasing or purchasing assistant experience is valued
• Understanding of compliance, risk management and governance; knowledge of buying intellectual services is a major plus
• Perfect written and spoken French
• Negotiation skills, client focus, strong analysis and rigour
