Electrical Maintenance Technician

Our partner is a leading global engineering and manufacturing company serving the aerospace and transportation industries with high performance engineered components.

You will be responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in the wheel products plant. You will troubleshoot and fix failures, take part in preventive maintenance to minimise downtime, keep maintenance records and work closely with the mechanical maintenance team.

• Performing electrical maintenance and inspections on production equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical failures on manufacturing machinery
• Taking an active part in preventive maintenance
• Documenting maintenance and repair work accurately
• Supporting mechanical maintenance technicians with equipment issues

• An electrical qualification
• 5 to 6 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with servo drives, frequency converters, pneumatics and hydraulics
• The ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Willingness to work continuous 12 hour shifts; PLC troubleshooting (Moeller, Omron, Siemens) is an advantage
