Finance Manager

Our partner, a leading international company in logistics and supply chain, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join its team on site in Bucharest. You will organise and oversee finance and accounting, keeping records accurate and fully compliant with Romanian legal and statutory requirements.

You will manage the company's financial resources, ensure accurate reporting, and propose measures to improve financial performance.

• Lead the finance and accounting function in line with Romanian accounting and tax rules
• Prepare statutory financial statements, annual accounts and reports
• Coordinate the annual budget and give management analysis and recommendations
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and funding, and keep strong financial controls
• Represent the company with tax authorities, auditors and other institutions

• A degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or similar
• At least 7 years in finance and accounting, for example as Financial Controller, Chief Accountant or Finance Manager
• Very good knowledge of Romanian accounting standards, tax and statutory requirements
• Experience leading an accounting or finance team
• Strong Excel and hands on ERP experience, ideally SAP
