HSE Specialist

Our partner, a European manufacturer of sustainable packaging, is looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to support and develop health, safety and environmental practice at its Szombathely site.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, promote a strong safety culture, coordinate environmental initiatives and drive continuous improvement across HSE processes.

• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Maintaining and improving local HSE management systems
• Leading root cause analysis of incidents and following up corrective actions
• Delivering HSE onboarding and safety training, and coordinating internal and external audits
• Managing environmental permits, waste management and energy efficiency projects

• A relevant HSE qualification and NEBOSH or an equivalent international certification
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and auditing practice
• Experience in root cause analysis, risk assessment and incident investigation
• English to at least B2 level
• Project management experience and good Microsoft 365 skills, including SharePoint
