Installation Design Engineer

Our partner in Brasov develops innovative equipment and process technology for clean production environments such as food, beverage and chemical plants. They are looking for an ambitious Installation Design Engineer to create technical solutions for process installations in 2D and 3D.

You will size equipment and pipework, run the calculations, and work with execution teams and other departments to make sure projects are built correctly.

• Design technical solutions for process installations in 2D and 3D
• Size equipment and select pipes, parts and accessories
• Run calculations and choose the most efficient solutions for customers and production capacity
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Work with execution teams, attend project meetings and present proposed solutions

• Technical higher education in installations
• At least 3 years of installation design experience
• CAD skills, especially SolidWorks Piping
• Pipe route sizing, pressure drop calculations, hydraulics and basic knowledge of sensors
• Advanced English; a category B driving licence is an advantage
