IT Technician

Our partner is a global manufacturer in the glass and chemicals industries, running highly automated production facilities.

As IT Technician you will give day to day support for regional IT and OT (operational technology) systems, resolve second level technical issues, look after IT and OT assets and inventories, and support infrastructure projects so that business critical systems stay available.

• Supporting the 24/7 availability of regional IT and OT systems to corporate standards
• Delivering L2 support by investigating and resolving technical issues
• Maintaining IT and OT asset, spare parts and backup equipment inventories
• Contributing to requirements gathering, budgeting and infrastructure projects
• Providing temporary on site support at other domestic or international locations when needed

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 2 to 3 years of professional IT experience
• Active, communicative English
• Strong problem solving skills and a responsible, proactive approach
• The ability to work independently and handle technical issues effectively
