KYC Onboarding Officer

Our client, a leading public institution in Luxembourg, is looking for a KYC Onboarding Officer to reinforce its team during the post implementation phase of a new KYC and counterparty management platform.

This is a temporary agency assignment for an initial 2 months, renewable up to a maximum of 12 months, supporting higher onboarding and compliance volumes and helping to stabilise new processes and workflows.

• Onboarding counterparties through the institution's KYC platform
• Carrying out customer due diligence reviews and checking onboarding documentation is complete
• Performing first line compliance and risk controls, including enhanced due diligence and four eyes reviews
• Analysing and following up on screening alerts
• Supporting internal stakeholders, managing backlogs and escalating complex cases

• At least 3 years in AML/KYC onboarding, due diligence, periodic reviews or compliance in banking or financial services
• A degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Good understanding of AML, compliance, regulatory and risk assessment principles
• Experience with compliance screening and due diligence databases
• Fluent English; other European languages are an advantage
