Loan Officer

Our partner is a European financial institution in Luxembourg with an international, multicultural team drawn from the public and private sectors.

This is a six month temporary agency assignment. You will support lending operations across the full lifecycle, from transaction processing and loan administration to monitoring, reporting and process improvement.

• Administering the loan portfolio, including bookings, interest calculations, fee invoicing and loan records
• Managing loan events such as amendments, waivers and contractual changes
• Monitoring contractual obligations and rights under loan agreements
• Preparing internal and external lending reports and contributing to data analysis
• Improving lending processes and controls, and with experience, supporting risk monitoring and crisis preparedness

• A master's degree in finance, economics, business, law or a related field
• At least 3 years in lending operations or loan administration, or 5 years in a bank middle office
• Strong understanding of lending products, loan documentation and transaction terms
• Good Excel and data management skills, with strong analysis and reporting
• Excellent written and spoken English; Python, Power BI and other European languages are a plus

• An interim assignment in a respected international financial environment
• Exposure to complex lending operations
• Work alongside experienced finance professionals in a multicultural team
