Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Our partner is a global manufacturer in the glass and chemicals industries, running highly automated production facilities.

As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will coordinate and oversee planned maintenance of production equipment and facilities, analyse failures, run preventive maintenance programmes and guide the maintenance team day to day. You will also manage spare parts and external contractors and support technical investment projects.

• Organising and overseeing planned maintenance of production equipment and facilities
• Analysing equipment failures, coordinating troubleshooting and managing preventive maintenance programmes
• Monitoring machine performance and driving reliability and efficiency improvements
• Managing spare parts inventory and coordinating external service providers
• Supporting investment projects and budget preparation, and guiding and training the maintenance team

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance or a manufacturing environment
• Communicative English, written and spoken
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and industrial equipment, with user level SAP and MS Office
• Strong problem solving and organisation skills and the ability to work independently
