Operational Buyer

Our partner is looking for a Buying Operational Specialist to join a dynamic international team and support the management of product categories throughout their lifecycle.

The role suits someone with a background in procurement, category management, retail, supply chain or FMCG/CPG who enjoys a fast paced, collaborative and commercially focused setting.

• Supporting the management of assigned product categories across their lifecycle
• Monitoring market trends and commodity developments and making recommendations to stakeholders
• Acting as a key contact between internal teams and external suppliers and resolving vendor and product issues
• Preparing reports, maintaining databases and tracking business data
• Supporting process improvement and administrative and meeting coordination

• At least 2 years of experience in FMCG/CPG, retail, buying, category management or supply chain
• A degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or a related field is preferred
• Fluent English
• Strong organisation and multitasking skills with a detail oriented, proactive approach
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
