PLC Maintenance Technician

As PLC Maintenance Technician you will keep industrial machinery and production equipment running through electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair, with a focus on PLC related issues, preventive maintenance and minimising downtime. You will work with production and maintenance teams and suggest improvements to processes and equipment.

• Performing electrical maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting PLC related faults
• Carrying out and documenting scheduled preventive maintenance
• Working with production teams and other maintenance departments
• Proposing process and equipment improvements, always in line with safety rules

• Technical secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation or a related field
• Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing, including PLC troubleshooting
• The ability to read electrical schematics and use measuring and diagnostic tools
• Willingness to work in a multi shift environment
• Communicative German, Siemens PLC knowledge or a forklift licence is an advantage
