Process Control Engineer

Our partner is one of Europe's leading chemical manufacturers, investing heavily in automation, advanced process control and operational excellence at its Kazincbarcika site.

You will support process automation and digital transformation, working with operations and engineering teams to improve performance, reliability, safety and efficiency.

• Supporting automation and digital transformation projects on process control systems
• Evaluating control strategies, alarm systems and management of change
• Analysing process data and trends and building process control KPIs and reports
• Providing technical support on alarm management, PID tuning and Advanced Process Control
• Maintaining control documentation, engineering standards and control philosophies

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Process or Automation Engineering, or similar
• Professional experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Active written and spoken English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• DCS or PLC experience, APC knowledge and HAZOP or LOPA exposure are a plus
