Production Engineer (JIT)

Our partner is a global leader in automotive seating technology, supplying complete seating systems, seat structures, foam components and interior solutions to major car manufacturers.

In this Just in Time production environment you will own production line and process development: PFMEA and process documentation, assembly process optimisation, manufacturing changes, line balancing and continuous improvement.

• Designing and optimising production line layouts in AutoCAD
• Creating Process Flow Charts and PFMEA risk assessments, and running DFM and DFA analyses
• Developing, testing and implementing process and manufacturing changes
• Defining operation times and balancing lines using MTM
• Preparing work instructions and supporting LEAN and Kaizen initiatives

• A Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years in a similar manufacturing or process engineering role
• Communicative English
• Experience with PFMEA, practical AutoCAD and familiarity with MTM or similar time measurement
• The ability to read technical drawings and strong MS Office skills
