Production Engineer (Kaposvár)

Our partner is a global manufacturer in the glass and chemicals industries, running highly automated production facilities.

As Production Engineer you will make sure production runs on time and to quality, monitor raw material availability and keep processes compliant. You will also drive efficiency and cost reduction, support product and technology development, evaluate customer requirements and give technical support to customers.

• Delivering the production programme on time and to the specified quality, and raising team awareness of these goals
• Monitoring raw material shipments and stock and ensuring correct storage
• Checking process compliance and acting on deviations
• Reducing waste of energy and materials and generating cost and efficiency improvement projects
• Evaluating customer requests, running patent and literature research and providing technical service to customers

• A university degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficient English and MS Office; AutoCAD is preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing and Minitab knowledge is preferred
• Strong organisation, planning, reporting and follow up skills
