Service Delivery Manager, Buying

Our partner, a retail business, is building a new and fast growing shared services hub in Budapest and needs a Service Delivery Manager for Buying. You will lead the operational delivery teams, turning global service objectives and governance standards into daily plans, priorities and execution.

This is a chance to shape processes and drive standardisation in an evolving environment. You will be a key contact for senior service management and will represent the delivery organisation in governance forums. Regular travel across service centre and business locations is part of the role.

• Leading, coaching and developing Team Leads and operational teams in the Buying function
• Owning workforce planning, capacity management and day to day service delivery
• Monitoring service levels, KPIs, quality standards and compliance with sourcing and procurement governance
• Coordinating market priorities, critical requests and cross functional dependencies with stakeholders
• Driving process improvement and reporting performance insights to senior leadership

• A degree in Economics
• Proven experience leading operational service delivery teams in a shared services, GBS or multinational environment, ideally in buying or procurement
• Hands on experience of workforce planning, resource allocation and SLA and KPI management
• Experience working with international stakeholders in a matrix organisation
• Fluent English; other European languages are an advantage
