Software and Product Security

We fix what the report found.

Penetration tests generate reports. Products become secure when someone fixes the findings. We provide the engineers who do exactly that.

The problem

The security industry is very good at finding problems and much less good at fixing them. A penetration test produces a report, the report produces a backlog, and the backlog sits behind the product roadmap until the next test finds the same issues again.

The constraint is rarely knowledge. It is engineering capacity. Development teams are measured on delivery, remediation competes with features, and the people who can fix a vulnerability properly are the same people the roadmap depends on.

How we approach it

We supply the capability to turn security findings into remediation. We help clients add experienced application security and software engineering specialists to their team who can read the finding, understand the codebase and implement the fix properly, rather than simply describing what should be done.

Whether the challenge comes from penetration testing, code review, threat modelling or a wider security programme, the focus is the same: reducing risk by resolving vulnerabilities, not allowing them to sit in a backlog.

Alongside that, the work to stop the backlog rebuilding. Secure development lifecycle practices, pipeline security, dependency and supply chain controls, and enablement so the development teams catch more of it themselves.
